Hello friends, i have thought of the problem that i have mentioned in my earlier blog post and what i was thinking is more on the terms of the new cities that are coming up and those cities who have some space to renovate.
I have seen this phenomena happening in Ahmedabad, Gujarat and Pune, Maharashtra. There are special tracks that are laid down in the middle of the roads only for the public transport facility so that these buses do not hinder in the main traffic and for more clarity i have attached an image of the Ahmedabad bus stop that is functional now:
These kind of bus stops will not only help reduce the congestion but also avoid the traffic incidents that are happening.
Now taking these same resources, there will be Ambulances that will be running on these tracks and all the major roads in the city will have these kind of center lane facility so the ambulance can directly enter here and they can come out from the exit near the hospital. This will be a time saver and the buses that are already on the route can stand aside for a while to let the ambulance clear from the traffic congestion.
This will result in number of lives saved every month and even every week.
I m still thinking on how we can solve this problem in a cluttered area and if there are any other solutions to this also are warmly welcome :D
